"Dragon Fire" abstract original art by Kasey Wanford
In Dragon Fire I was just being playful. I used several cut up sections of my old palette liner paper, added paint here and there, and then sealed it under layers of glossy clear acrylic. At one point while making this, I started seeing a dragon's head in the composition, so I leaned into that a little by adding triangle paper scraps that look like teeth. Even so, this painting remains abstract. Because of the multiple layers of clear acrylic, Dragon Fire has an interesting depth to it. It was a lot of fun to make!
14x11 inches, signed and comes with its own frame, so it is ready to hang! (35.5cmx28cm)
Please note: the wood frame shown in the photos is part of the painted panel surface and cannot be separated without risk of damage to the artwork.
