"Drop Zone" original abstract art by Kasey Wanford

 In Drop Zone, the shapes seem to gather to fall towards a certain point. There is perceived motion and and expressionist brushwork across the surface.

Although I made this using fluid acrylic paints, I wanted it to look a little like watercolors blending together in certain areas.  I achieved this by adding a layer of watercolor ground to the surface before painting.
