Popular Series 6x12

The lines in these paintings recede into the background, hidden behind a translucent layer of yupo, while colorful puddles of color collide on top. I like contrasts, and the black and white geometric lines vs. the organic color is interesting to me. The yupo paper is plastic, and looks a lot like vellum. 

In this painting, there is a circular cutout in the middle that allows a better look at the painted background. 

The specs: Alcohol ink on yupo, mounted on acrylic painted wood panel, sealed with a UV resistant topcoat.  Size: 12x6.5"
