“Shadow on a Stage” by artist Kasey Wanford. 

A vibrant and eye-catching small painting.

The title for this piece comes from my conflicted feelings about being a public-facing artist, even though my natural inclination is to complete my creative work privately and without an audience. And yet I want people to see my work, hence, the “stage”.

12x12x1.5 inches, acrylic on stretched canvas. This artwork was made in 2023, but improved upon in 2026 (I added a glaze tint and changed its orientation). The sides are painted and it is ready to hang.
